The FKF Women’s Premier League 2025/26 continues today, Saturday, October 11, with four exciting fixtures lined up at various venues across the country as the league enters its second matchweek.

This clash pits two teams looking to maintain their perfect start to the season. Both secured 2-1 wins in Gameweek 1 against Kayole Starlets and Kisped Queens, respectively.

Historically, this fixture has been a high scoring thriller. Only one of the five encounters between the two teams has ended goalless (December 27, 2023).

Remarkably, three of the five matches have seen seven or more goals scored, with results being Police 4-3 Zetech, Police 6-2 Zetech, and Police 3-4 Zetech. They have drawn twice (0-0 and 1-1). okay

The rivalry holds a unique historical piece, Police Bullet’s only defeat in their three seasons in the FKF Women’s Premier League was handed to them by Zetech.

It was a dramatic 4-3 encounter at Dandora Stadium where Zetech came from behind, fueled by a second half hattrick from Violet Akinyi within a space of 12 minutes.

Ahead of the match, Police Bullets Head Coach David Bujego expressed optimism “This is my second week as Police Bullets head coach, so I’m still implementing my structure and style of play. I have quality players that are shaping up well, so I know we shall have an improvement from the first match against Kayole Starlets.”

Debutants Gideon Starlets host Kayole Starlets as they seek a historic first win in the top flight.

Kayole’s Head Coach Mary Adhiambo is focused on securing their first points after a season opening loss to Police Bullets.

“The players are highly motivated. There is belief and spirit that it’s very possible for us to secure a win in the second match. That’s our focus,” she told the club’s media team.

Vihiga Queens vs. Kibera Soccer (Moi Stadium, Kisumu)

In what is anticipated to be the biggest match of the weekend, Vihiga Queens, who plan to maintain their winning start, will host Kibera Soccer. Kibera will be seeking their first win of the season after drawing with Ulinzi in Gameweek 1.

Trinity Starlets vs. Bungoma Queens (Comboni Polytechnic, Gilgil)
